How Cell Statistics works

By calculating cell statistics, a statistic for each location is calculated in which the value at each location on the output raster is a function of the input values at each location. Some details and examples of each statistic are provided below.

Mean

Majority

Cell Statistics—Mean example
OutRas = CellStatistics([InRas1, InRas2, InRas3], "Majority")

Maximum

Cell Statistics—Maximum example
OutRas = CellStatistics(["InRas1", "InRas2", "InRas3"], "Maximum")

Median

Cell Statistics—Mean example
OutRas = CellStatistics([InRas1, InRas2, InRas3], "Median")

Minimum

Cell Statistics—Minimum example
OutRas = CellStatistics(["InRas1", "InRas2", "InRas3"], "Minimum")

Minority

Cell Statistics—Mean example
OutRas = CellStatistics([InRas1, InRas2, InRas3], "Mean")

Range

Cell Statistics—Mean example
OutRas = CellStatistics([InRas1, InRas2, InRas3], "Range")

Std

Cell Statistics—Standard Deviation example
OutRas = CellStatistics([InRas1, InRas2, InRas3], "STD")

Sum

Cell Statistics—Mean example
OutRas = CellStatistics([InRas1, InRas2, InRas3], "Sum")

Variety

Cell Statistics—Mean example
OutRas = CellStatistics([InRas1, InRas2, InRas3], "Variety")
