Modifying a custom node style

As your project changes, modifications can be made to custom node styles.

NoteNote:

You cannot modify the Default styles.

Steps:
  1. Open the Style Manager dialog box by doing one of the following:
    • Click the Start button, then click All Programs > Task Assistant Manager > Style Manager.
    • Start ArcMap, click the Task Assistant button Task Assistant on the Task Manager toolbar, right-click in the Task Assistant window, and click Style Manager.
  2. Click the Styles drop-down arrow and choose the style you want to modify.
  3. Perform any of the following as appropriate to modify the style:

    To change the name of the style

    Click the cell next to Name and type a name for the style.

    To change the default image for the style

    Click the cell next to Default Image, click the ellipsis (...) that appears, navigate to the image you want to use, then click Open.

    To open an image

    Click the cell next to Open Image, click the ellipsis (...) that appears, navigate to the image you want to use, then click Open.

    To change the selected image

    Click the cell next to Selected Image, click the ellipsis (...) that appears, navigate to the image you want to use, then click Open.

    To change the text color

    Click the cell next to Text Color, click the ellipsis (...) that appears, then choose the color you want to use.

    To make the text bold

    Click the cell next to Bold Text and click the drop-down arrow to change the setting.

    To make the text italics

    Click the cell next to Italics Text and click the drop-down arrow to change the setting.

    To undo changes and revert to the last saved event

    Click Reset to undo the changes and redefine the style's appearance.

    NoteNote:

    Clicking Reset undoes changes made since the last time the workflow was saved.

  4. Click Save to set the changes you made.
  5. Click Close.
