001169 : Layer '<value>' has an invalid representation.

Description

The layer has an unknown representation, or the feature representation is linked to a different feature class than the one defined by the layer. This is commonly seen after copy/rename operations in Catalog.

Solution

Open the Layer Properties dialog box and select the Symbology tab. Specify the appropriate feature class representation.
