Enabling the Airports extension (Aviation)

This topic applies to ArcGIS for Desktop Standard and ArcGIS for Desktop Advanced only.

The Airports extension can be installed as part of the ArcGIS for Aviation: Charting. If you have already installed the Aviation Charting, you already have access to the tools that are part of ArcGIS for Aviation: Airports.

After installation, the Airports extension must be activated in ArcGIS for Desktop.

Steps:

1. Start ArcMap or ArcCatalog.
2. On the main menu, click Customize > Extensions.
3. Check the box next to Airports.
4. Click Close.
