Status of product library components (Maritime Charting)

The product library visually indicates the status of products and/or files using a series of symbols inside its window and the file manager. Typically, these symbols are displayed on top of the existing icons for the product or file.

Symbol	Status	Description
	Checked Out	The file, product, or template is currently checked out to you, allowing only you to perform particular actions.
	Locked	The file, product, or template is currently checked out to another user, preventing you from performing particular actions (exclusive lock).
	Mixed State	One or more files that together make a product (MXD, instance database, and so on) have different states (checked out versus checked in).
	Linked	The file has one or more links to other locations in product library.
	Associated file checked out	One or more files (accessed via the file manager) associated with the product library component are currently checked out.
