Storing the map in the current map document

Legacy:

10.2.1 is the final release in which MPS-Atlas is available for installation. It is recommended that map series created with MPS-Atlas be moved to data driven pages. For more information, see Migrating an MPS-Atlas map book to Data Driven Pages.

The Storage tab on the Map Series Properties dialog box offers two types of storage options: in the current map document or as individual map documents. Choosing the Current Map Document option allows you to store the map sheet in the current, single .mxd file.

Steps:

1. Start ArcMap.
2. On the main menu, click Customize > Toolbars > MPS Atlas.
3. Click the MPS Atlas window button on the MPS Atlas toolbar.

   The MPS Atlas window appears.

4. Right-click the map series on the MPS Atlas window and click Map Series Properties.

   The Map Series Properties dialog box appears.

5. Click the Storage tab.

   The Storage tab appears.
6. Click the Current Map Document option.
7. Click OK.
