Making map sheets shared

LegacyLegacy:

10.2.1 is the final release in which MPS-Atlas is available for installation. It is recommended that map series created with MPS-Atlas be moved to data driven pages. For more information, see Migrating an MPS-Atlas map book to Data Driven Pages.

Sharing a map sheet establishes a link to the shared map series and removes the single map series layout and data frame manager. The map sheet layout is overridden by the shared map layout, and any changes made to the single map sheet are lost.

Steps:
  1. Start ArcMap.
  2. On the main menu, click Customize > Toolbars > MPS Atlas.
  3. Click the MPS Atlas window button MPS Atlas window on the MPS Atlas toolbar.

    The MPS Atlas window appears.

  4. Right-click a single map sheet and click Make Map Sheet Shared.

The map sheet is incorporated into the map series or shared map sheet.
