PortName Property

Gets or sets port name. Port name can be as follows: COMn - COM port (n - any number). E.g. "COM1", "COM5", or "COM999"

Exceptions

Exception	Description
System.ArgumentNullException	Port name is invalid, e.g. it is negative.
System.InvalidOperationException	Property cannot be changed if connection is open.
System.ArgumentException	The PortName property was set to a value that starts with "\\".
