Connecting to the Tracking Gateway

The Tracking Gateway allows communications with Tracking Viewer, Tracking Analyst, and custom clients. All input and output from the Tracking Gateway comes and goes in the form of messages. A standard Tracking Server installation utilizes a single Tracking Gateway, but multiple Gateways can be used.

Steps:

1. Open Tracking Server Manager.
2. Select the Data Links tab.
3. Double-click the Tracking Server Connector data link.
4. On the TMS Connector Configuration dialog box, click the Gateway Connections tab.
5. Click the plus sign to add a gateway connection.
6. Double-click the new connection to edit the host name and port number settings.
7. Click Apply and OK.
