Viewing Data Using ArcGIS Tracking Analyst
If you have ArcGIS for Desktop installed, you can view real-time tracking services from Esri Tracking Server using the ArcGIS Tracking Analyst extension.
Real-time tracking services from Tracking Server can be added to a map in ArcGIS for Desktop just like standard feature layers or services from ArcGIS for Server. Tracking Analyst allows you to display, analyze, and manipulate real-time data using a variety of tools specifically designed for time-based data, as summarized below. In addition to the tools provided within the extension, you can also use the wide range of GIS functionality built into ArcGIS for Desktop to get the most out of your real-time data.
For detailed information on using ArcGIS for Desktop and the ArcGIS Tracking Analyst extension, refer to the ArcGIS for Desktop Help.
