One of the datasets or its associated ID fields selected as inputs to the tool is invalid. This tool checks for the existence of the datasets but not the validity of the attributes associated with it.

Solución

Verify that the associated attributes of the input datasets are valid and can be viewed with ArcGIS for Desktop Basic.
