Scripting geodatabase creation in Informix
You can copy and alter an example script to create a geodatabase in an IBM Informix database.
スクリプトを実行する前に、いくつかのタスクを完了させておく必要があります。これらのタスクとスクリプト自体について、以下の手順で説明します。
- サーバ上に Informix をインストールして設定します。
- Be sure the Informix Basic Text Search module is registered.
- Register the Informix Spatial DataBlade module.
- Create an operating system login named sde on the Informix server.
- Uncomment the VPCLASS parameter in the Informix ONCONFIG file to run Java user-defined routines (UDRs), then restart Informix.
- Create a database in the Informix instance and configure storage spaces.
- Grant the EXTEND role and RESOURCE privilege to the sde user you created in step 4.
- If you will be running the Python script from a different computer than the Informix server, install and configure the Informix client on the computer from which you will run the script.
The Informix client can be downloaded from the Esri Customer Care Portal. See the Informix documentation for instructions to install the client. If you are installing the Informix client to run with a 32-bit ArcGIS client, install the 32-bit Informix IConnect client. If you are installing the Informix client to run with ArcGIS for Server, install the 64-bit IConnect client. See Setting up a connection to Informix for more information.
- Copy this example script to the Python window in ArcGIS for Desktop or to any Python IDE, such as PythonWin or WING, on a computer where ArcGIS for Desktop (Standard or Advanced), ArcGIS for Server (Standard or Advanced), or ArcGIS Engine with the Geodatabase Update extension is installed.
This example script enables geodatabase functionality in an existing Informix database:

- Alter the script to include the information specific to your site.
